Quick answer
Hayden at a glance
Hayden runs Sweetwater Farm and is one of the 12 marriage candidates. Visit the farm first, save a strong animal product for Winter 8, and use his shop when preparing an animal-breeding pair.
Loved Gifts
Hayden's Loved Gifts are Golden animal products, so they become practical only after a ranch has mature, high-heart animals. Use a Liked Gift earlier rather than delaying friendship for a rare gold drop.
- Golden Butter · Golden Cheese · Golden Duck Egg
- Golden Duck Mayonnaise · Golden Egg
Heart events and romance
Complete Hayden's heart quests in order at 2, 4, 6, and 8 hearts. Choose the romantic response in the 8-heart event to begin dating, then reach 10 hearts before using the Engagement Ring for a proposal.
Where to find Hayden
Start at Sweetwater Farm and check his house, shop, and nearby animal buildings. Town errands, festivals, weather, and active heart quests can change the route.
