Every legendary fish condition
The morning notice tells you that a legendary condition is active, but you still need the correct water and shadow size. Travel with enough free inventory and donate the first catch because the four fish form one museum set.

Unlock the perk before waiting on weather
Fishing level 30 is the first requirement. Spend 80 Essence on the Legendary perk only when you are ready to act on the special weather windows. Without the perk, standing in the correct place under the correct sky will not create the target catch.
Once unlocked, check the morning message before committing a day to the route. The notice is a faster signal than visiting every water type and hoping the right shadow appears.
Why the fish is not appearing
First verify the season and exact weather effect, then the water type, then the shadow size. A windy day is not interchangeable with the spring cherry-petal or fall leaf condition, and a pond is not a river. Leave and refresh available shadows instead of repeatedly casting at the wrong size.
- No morning notice: the legendary condition is not active.
- Correct weather, no fish: confirm Fishing 30 and the Legendary perk.
- Correct water, wrong shadows: refresh the area and target the listed size.
- First catch complete: prioritize the museum donation.
Donation and repeat catches
Each legendary fish can only be caught once per save. Donate Cherry, Lightning, Leaf, and Snow Fish to complete the museum's Legendary Fish Set. They can be sold, but selling or gifting your only catch prevents you from completing this set on that save.
The Fish Tank is crafted furniture using a Tetra; it is not a way to breed replacement legendary fish. Save before handling your only catch, and donate it before selling or gifting other fish.
