Quick answer

After the wedding, wait about two weeks for the Mystical Feather conversation. Family expansion is optional. After choosing pregnancy or adoption, wait roughly another two weeks for the child event. The current game supports one child who remains an infant.

The complete four-week timeline

The family system begins only after a completed wedding. Around two weeks later, the Mystical Feather conversation presents an optional choice. Your spouse does not decide automatically. Once you choose the family route, the child arrives after another approximately two-week wait.

  1. 1

    Complete the wedding.

  2. 2

    Wait about two in-game weeks.

  3. 3

Respond to the Mystical Feather choice.

  4. 4

Choose the available pregnancy or adoption route.

  5. 5

Wait about two more weeks for the child event.

Pregnancy, adoption, name, and appearance

The game presents pregnancy and adoption using its own relationship context. Follow the on-screen wording rather than importing real-world assumptions into the mechanic. The child's name can be edited, while appearance and presentation respond to the spouse and player choices available in the event.

Save before the final sequence if the name matters to you. The system is intentionally optional, so declining or delaying it is a valid play choice rather than a failed relationship state.

How many children, and do they grow up?

A household can have one child, and the child remains an infant.

If the Mystical Feather has not appeared

Count from the wedding rather than the proposal, allow for the approximate wording of the two-week interval, and continue normal married life before troubleshooting the save.
